Unus pro omnibus, omnes pro uno

The 2012 Halloween campaign has officially been launched.
To say that they are excited would be a major understatement.

Zombies are definitely the flavour of the moment.
Considering the many hours that they (and I...) spend on Plant -vs- Zombies, this is hardly surprising.

Mimi has decided that she will be the dancing zombie.

Luca is seriously leaning towards a lead role as the bucket zombie.

And they have already decided that Finnzy-bob and I will be Gargantuar and his minion.

In practice we'll just be going round the estate with green make-up smeared on our face (nothing new here), dressed in ripped old clothes (even less novelty here).
And I won't bother putting my front tooth in.
A missing front tooth is handy on two occasions: for Halloween, and to ensure that you have a free seat next to you on the Eurolines bus to London (you have to stare intently at all newcomers on the bus too, with a big toothless grin. Those who do the put-a-bag-on-the-seat-next-to-me-and-avoid eye contact at all cost trick have got it all wrong...)

But I know that in their little minds we'll be the exact replica of the above characters.
And they be rightly peeved if everyone else does not identify us as such right away...

Mrs Raheny will be the Wicked Witch of the West. As usual.
She has a natural affinity for the role and it requires minimal expense in costume and make-up.
