Blue (EP9)
I placed our daughter Isabella in front of the blue wall of our house and told her to hold the Heliconia in front of her face. She was a bit impatient with her dad, and this might explain the ambiguous expression on her face when I told her to smile at the camera.
Exposure time (1s) was evenly divided between Isabella and the blank blue wall. After framing her for about half a second I rapidly moved the camera upwards, creating this disturbing portrait of my otherwise very sweet daughter.
