The bellringers used to go in there for a drink after practice but week after week they had run out of beer. So now they go elsewhere...
It's one of the few pubs in Guernsey that has "English Style" pub names. Many years ago The Kings Head was around the corner in the street where I live. It could even have been in the building where I live; I can't find the article that was in the local paper a year or two ago but there was a photograph of it and I do vaguely remember it. In fact there used to be three pubs in the street where I live but all gone...
