Lake Abant

Up early for a Sunday as I wanted to use the some of the spa facilities including pools plural and steam rooms (also plural). Having engaged in some healthy life choices I then joined friends for less healthy but delicious choices at a leisurely breakfast. We checked out @ 11-30 and headed off to Lake Abant (pictured) to enjoy walking in brilliant winter sunshine (though sometimes muddy and sometimes crunchy icy underfoot) - some 6+km which I reckon used up all my breakfast calories. Writing this on the minibus journey home - we just arrived at the 'car park' that is the outskirts of Istanbul. Hey ho back to reality.
