send off

We had a farewell lunch today for a couple from Dunscore Church who are moving to Wales to be nearer to their family. Peter and Rona (on the left) have lived here since 1986 and will be greatly missed. Peter is our organist and Chair of the Board; Rona is an Elder and an expert at (amongst other things) applying for grants! They are both very self-effacing people so i have deliberately photographed them this way.

A beautifully sunny and very cold day so I went for a walk with Jess early on this morning. Our Christmas tree is still up and I'm enjoying the lights so I shall leave it a couple of days longer, I think :-)
