Reorganising

I didn't sleep well and woke up feeling not 100%. That and the fact that it was -6 with a thick frosty meant I decided to have one last long lie instead of swimming.

Started by getting some metrics. Scary! But it was a beautiful sunny day so I did some more things on 'the list'. Despite #2 son not returning the saws I reduced the Christmas tree and also reduced cardboard.  Took the new bike round the back and checked its folding capabilities and fitted lights and bell.  The lock won't do though. Another trip to Halford is required. I washed and photographed the French bike. I want to sell it and found an expired ad for exactly the same bike on Gumtree but I'll have to sort the handlebars and I don't seem to have the right size of Allen key.

Back inside with the correct cable I moved the TV. Having to run cable 'overland' as it were is not the neatest of jobs but I think looks a lot better. It makes the room less like a tv. And I froze the leftover sprouts. Quite a good day really.

I feel I've earned 'a quiet night in'.
