No business like sloe business!

What a top day!!

A gorgeous gorgeous day! Sunshine, blue sky and a little frost first thing.

Had woke at 7am and ready to watch jenson in the Korean gp. Well that was short lived as he got shunted out on lap 1! Can't really stand to watch vettel, boring vettel, so got up and had a cuppa.

Had lovely breakfast, then went off on my bike, in search of sloes! None to be found, and had all but given up when after taking a mega detour, I found some! They're very scarce this year due to dry spring earlier in the year, then late frosts. But, I bagged myself a kilo of them.

Called at mums for a coffee, then home to mow the lawn, one final cut. Picked a great crop of tomatoes from my greenhouse, and made a beaut roasted tomato and basil soup!

Out then for family meal for uncle petes birthday. Great fun as usual with fab family, and great food. Home and bottle up some sloe gin, before horlicks and a good sleep (hopefully) before work tomorrow
