On the Rocks

We had to fit my eleven o’clock in between the two final races of Tour de Ski today. It was reasonably sunny, but bitterly cold because of the wind. We were brave and walked through the oak meadows all the same. There are lots of rocks that have to be jumped! Yay!!

The actual skiing was very exciting! It’s puzzling because they ski uphill, in a very steep alpine slalom course. Crazy! We enjoyed it and there was coffee for mum and a treat for me to be had. Twice! Norway and Switzerland won.

Mum made meatballs for dinner! Well, not exactly meatballs but a dish made with ground beef. And I got some!
