Up, up and awayyyyyy

Flying kites on Gog Magog Down. Ours flew off and all kinds of hilarity ensued trying to retrieve it. It was dislodged from the tree the line got stuck in and then flew off across the fields. It got stuck in a hedge and rather unbelievably we were able to get at it from the road home. Adventure Boy had a new kite for Christmas from us. He let go just after I lost ours but sadly it rested in a tree on the edge of a quarry. Just too dangerous to get it back. We've ordered him a replacement. In other news we discovered that our kite flying has breached CAA rules. Too long a string!
