Byebye baby x

It was a bit of a foggy morning as I waved 'Sunshine Sally' off to the scrap yard.
I must admit to being a bit sad and fighting back a tear but I don't know why.
To be honest she deserved it!!!!!!!

I purchased this little beauty from #1son when he left for Oz in April last year.
The main reason was so he would have some extra cash for his trip.

Guess what?
I WOS ROBBED!

Although cute and fun 'Sunny' (for short) turned out to be very high maintenance and extreemly unreliable.

When the 'chip' failed in the only key I lost my patience and got the boys to help me push her into the garage where she has been incarcerated ever since.

True to form and vexatious to the last, when we tried to move her this morning the brake calipers had seized and she would not budge!
The recovery man and I had to bounce her until we released them and then she was winched onto the truck for her final journey.

'Let that be a lesson to you Sunny' I thought as I locked up the garage and wiped my eyes :-(
