Exeter Quay
A great day today. Played golf as usual this morning then took Mum to Exeter with Jess. Had a look round the new John Lewis, then took a walk down by the quay, and went to Tiger Bills for dinner, lovely.
It was also a historical day, as Felix Baumgartner did a sky dive from the edge of space. Jess, Mum and I, watched it all live on my i-phone as we were still in Exeter in utter dis-belief! No matter what anyone did today, it wasn't as cool or as brave as what felix did!
He jumped from 128,097 ft, was in freefall for 4 minutes 19 seconds, and reached a speed of 1137 km per hour, faster than the speed of sound!
Without doubt the best blip anyone took today was this one!
This was the Neil Armstrong moment for my generation. Felix, we salute you!
