Saturday in Glasgow
We had a lie in today, but not that bad. I was up before noon and tried to catch up with my photos. Neil surfaced much later.
It was sunny and lovely in Glasgow and I pushed to get out after a very late breakfast. We made it out before the sunset but the sun had gone already.
We walked along the river to Gibson street to get some decaf beans at Artisan Roast. On the street we met Felicity, our former neighbour and we caught up over some coffee in the Café. It was nice to catch up and Felicity and I are planning to meet for lunch soon and try the vegan raw cakes at V and V Café. I saw yummy photos on Instagram. Although i am far from vegan, I do like raw cakes a lot.
We split after leaving the Café and Neil an I walked to Byres road and did the last bit of shopping that needed done for dinner.
We managed to hit the local Barber just before 6 pm and Neil could get the needed beard trim.
At home we pottered around a bit before we prepared dinner and again played a couple of hours board games before we called it a day.
Blipping Neil in front of Kelvin Bridge. I really like his beard.
