Coat weather

Quite chilly over the common at lunchtime but, thankfully, dry rather than muddy for the first time in ages. And the cows were nowhere to be seen - possibly they’ve been relocated to the field down the lane for the rest of the winter - so we also had the luxury of being able to walk the route of our (my) choice, unhindered.
