Sri Lanka - day 2

We started the day with a visit to a tile making factory. No evidence of any health and safety equipment anywhere! Next stop was to see the gathering of palm nectar for making Toddy. Even less H&S there as the guy walked along tightropes between the palm trees - a VERY long way up! After lunch, we climbed into jeeps and headed into one of Sri Lanka's national parks - we saw a leopard, an elephant and a wild buffalo as well as lots of birds.
