Fountains Abbey

Checked out of the hotel early and started to make our way home.Decided to visit Fountains Abbey on our way and have some lunch.A fantastic place to visit and we ended up spending most of the afternoon there.Definetly the highlight of the holiday.

I liked the light on this tree.In the extras can be seen a more conventional view of the abbey.

It felt like a long drive home and the roads hadn't been gritted in places.
