Back to work today to cover the office.

Someone has to do it I guess. Well, someone has to make a dent on those mincemeat pies at least.

We got the late evening flight home from Gatwick last night. I feel as though I’ve been on holiday for ever and we still have almost two weeks. Amazing.

Tonight we have some friends from the Deep South visiting. They are up visiting family for a week or so and for the first time in years we are in the same place at the same time. My boys are concerned that they are a family for girls. “Four girls” they say! It’ll probably be a different case the next time we are in the same place over the Christmas holidays in a few years time!
