Steady Rain

I went early to the Lake House today to let in the window guys. They came to install the last of the window replacements and the screens. Most of the work on the house is now done.

While I was there I thought about my friend Helen who lives close to my old house. I called. She was free. And I went over for coffee. We had a lovely time talking together. While I was there a friend of her's called to confirm a time for a movie they are seeing this afternoon. I mentioned I hadn't seen it and wanted to and Helen invited me along. So soon I'll take off for the Limelight Theater to see "Lady Bird." I'm looking forward to seeing it.
