I received five books this Christmas.

A book of essays, a book of poetry, a book of liturgy, a glossy pictorial book of ancient trees and this one.

I am delighted with each of them and even more delighted that my friends and family know me so well and don’t chose novels - which I would really like to want to read but which I just never seem to be able to get into.
