Tiny Tuesday...

I found a chrysalis in the garden I was weeding and put it somewhere safe so I could watch it as it was nearly ready to hatch.  The idea was to get s series of photos of the process.  All morning I watched it closely, then Teach asked me go and get some coach bolts to stabilise our decking.  I was gone all of 15 minutes and it had hatched by the time I came back...grrrrrrrr.  the good part was that it was quite happy to pose and I could get really close.  

The extra is up close before it hatched and with it's straight wings.
