A dead Flower of the Sow Thistle

Sow thistle is an annual weed which seems to like my garden. It is also known as puha, and is eaten by some people as a vegetable.

I was pulling a well established plant out from under the shrubs when I took a proper look at the seed heads and decided they would make a more interesting blip than the little, yellow, dandelion-like flowers.
