I walk this path almost every day from the train station. It is a grotty path but very old and historical and I think about it every time I walk it. It is the path to Trentham Railway station that runs towards Army base. Most likely the path that a great many soldiers marched to catch a train to the docks on the way to war. it is also the path to the Trentham Racecourse. No doubt many people took this path from the railway station to the race course to win or lose fortunes.

Now it is just a grafitti filled rutted track that runs to the boys high school that occupies the trentham racecourse grounds. Usually filled with Squealing juniors kicking balls and running for the train.
