Start of the journey!

Less than 24 hours ago we decided to start our holiday early by staying at a hotel airport the night before. Never has such a good decision been made!

We chose the Radison Blu due to it having indoor pool and the fact that we could check in early and have a swim. Even though we had found a amazing deal for this hotel online when we arrived they upgraded us to a business class room with a complimentary mini bar, nespresso machine, robes etc. It was bliss with a gigantic bed and fluffy pillows.

So we checked in and resisted the urge to sleep and went down for a swim, but the pool was closed due to an 'accident' in the pool :( why do people let their children swim without appropriate nappies on!!!

The staff at the hotel were amazing and I would highly reccomend it to any-one looking for a hotel near East Midlands airport!
