Mynah

Today was a very lazy day even by our standards. I think I've only walked down to the pool, back up to the room and down again for cocktails. I did think about going to the gym but not for long. I got a better shot of one of the Mynah birds today and the monitor lizard called again. I took some of the tree sparrows flitting about too. I've never seen tree sparrows in the UK, they're daintier birds than the house sparrow and they have a chestnut brown head as opposed to the house sparrow's grey head. Their markings are tidier with a pronounced dark spot on their white cheeks.

We have a little Ali Baba basket on the dresser in our room and each day we lift the lid to see what wonders may have appeared. Ive added an extra of the basket and today's little gift.
