A tiny ray of brightness

Even the birds have been hiding somewhere warm, as I haven’t seen one on the feeders today.
Grey dismal, damp awful day.
I have spent most of it in a nice warm kitchen making marmalade. The lovely smell and bright orange colour certainly cheered me up.

Just popped out to take this shot of the winter jasmine which is growing up the wall beside the door.

We had a great night yesterday. Good food and company, but the Californian wines weren’t so great, and expensive. Still nice to try something different.
