GRITTED TEETH

Another visit to the soothing surroundings (!) of the dentist's waiting room. As ever, my clothes were entirely uncoordinated to their lime-and-purple decor and must have put other patients' teeth on edge. Only a clean and polish this time, but I'm booked in for root removal and bone graft next week at vast expense. I told them today that since the offending upper part of the tooth left home before Christmas everything has been so strong and stable that I'd prefer a conservative approach (do you see what I did there?) if possible, and leave well alone, but she'll need to check it first in case there's something sinister going on deep down.
