Cooking, painting and reading

The boys were at the childminder this morning, thankfully, the youngest no longer cries when I leave him and now just wonders off quite happily to find whatever it is he wants to play with.  When I collected them, he pretty much carried on playing and was somewhat indifferent about being collected, the eldest was desperate to tell me about his counting (he still can't get passed two), but the childminder was doing a great job of almost getting him up to three.

We had a busy afternoon one way and another, we spent an hour or so painting - which the eldest just loves (the youngest wasn't too impressed about the whole thing), then we baked a banana loaf and then it was time for playing trains and tractors.  We decided that a walk wasn't going to happen today - the eldest frequently told me it was raining (which is was, pretty much all day).

The eldest was quite happy to help finish off the banana loaf mixture from the bowl whilst reading his new favourite book.
