Lame Duck

I finally went out with the camera at 3:00pm. After a very dull and misty day the light was awful. I got very close to some intrepid goldcrests but there wasn't enough light for the camera to focus on them. I managed a very grainy/noisy shot of Jack Heron in flight as I walked around our neighbour's lake. Four Canada geese have returned. Hope they breed here again. The mallards seemed restless. As I had nothing else to blip I've posted a very lame duck shot. I've faffed with the tone and presence as an attempt at a crutch. :)
