Window box

Last week I noticed some little clay figures on archduchess' blip of her messy desk. They looked very like some little figures of my own, which I present here.

I became a huge fan of Gormley's Field after seeing it exhibited in Gateshead in 2003. Inspired by my enthusiasm, the following Christmas my father presented me with my very own "Window Box".

It's always wonderful to receive a home made present. What is even more impressive in this case is that my father didn't buy the clay for his creation: he extracted it himself from the bed of the River Tyne!
