Australasian Gannet

I had not seen one of these close- it is huge, nearly a metre long. Wingspan of 1.8 metres.... It came to us over the weekend,, hungry and exhausted. We have had a lot of strong winds which can blow these beauties off course. It is doing well, eating huge amounts of fish, and will probably go next week. It has the most beautiful blue around the eye.
