Super Orchids!

We moved into our flat at the end of June 2009, these potted orchids were bought from Tesco the day after we got our keys. The label read "will be good for 28 days" (or something along those lines). Here we are nearly 3 and a half years later and still getting new buds :-) so glad I didn't throw it out :-D

My husband ordered me a new camera on Saturday as a surprise! I'm going to be the proud owner of my first DSLR! Woo! Hehe. Nikon D3100, perfect starter I think (was the Nikon or Canon 1100D and after research decided on the Nikon). I do have an SLR that my mother-in-law gave me a few months ago so I'm hoping to be able to track down a F to K mount as the SLR is a Pentax ProgramA and I have a few lenses for it.

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone for their lovely comments on my blips and subscribers, you've all made me feel so welcome to blip and made it so fun. Not to mention all your blips are just a joy to look at :-)
