It was the usual early start for the trip to Witham and my day at The J's Hospice. And I'm pleased to say my recent cold has almost completely gone although by the end of the day I was pretty much on my chinstrap!

So... it's a simple blip today, this is a leaf of a houseplant that inexplicably clings to life in our kitchen and the background is a cheeseboard that came with a selection of cheeses at Christmas...

This was not my dinner! That was a delicious Cottage Pie...
