Memories

This shot of our daughter with its washed-out colours reminded me of some of my dad's photographs of my own childhood in the Amazon. I took this one on the street in front of our house, and as you can see we're practically surrounded by dense forest (we do have neighbours, but only on our side of the street). 
The extra is a picture taken by my dad in the Amazon in the early 70's. It show me (the kid with the big head), my older sister and another missionary's son.
