Roy Williams & Bruce Carnaffin at the Kendal Jazz Club last night. The KJC is now at its new venue - the new Kendal Rugby Club. Roy remembered playing when the KJC was at the County Hotel decades ago, when jazz was king at Kendal. Bruce may have played with him then and they were together with the High Society Jazz Band last night. In this sketch Bruce just happened to be playing his bass clarinet. In the past, Roy had also played in the Alex Welsh and Humphrey Lyttelton jazz bands - we were in the presence of greatness!.
