Mancunian mizzle

We headed into,Manchester today for our annual lunch with retired colleagues from our workplace. As always we had a lovely lunch, and a great catch up.

I took my camera with its wide lens to try and get a shot for todays wide Wednesday challenge, with the theme of Light/Shadow.

The weather was very damp and misty, so not much Light, hence not many Shadows :-/

I have blipped a similar shot before, but not from this angle.........I have given the shot a bit of vibrance, which hopefully highlights the shadows, not so sure about the light though ;-)

We had a long journey home, as 3 junctions nearest where we live on the M6 have been closed for most of the day, which has caused the local traffic to grind almost to a halt :-/ Sadly a lorry driver has lost his life apparently. the accident on the M6 :-(

Just a light snack for us this evening, after our fish and chips :-)
