Tarmac Transformed
Showers and sunshine, and a rainbow, and glory. And asparagus spears on the land. The world clean washed. So much beauty, flowers appearing everywhere. Reminds me of the Song of Songs (except very much hope the rains aren't over):
Arise, my darling,
my beautiful one, come with me.
See! The winter is past;
the rains are over and gone.
Flowers appear on the earth;
the season of singing has come,
the cooing of doves
is heard in our land.
The fig-tree forms its early fruit;
the blossoming vines spread their fragrance.
Arise, come, my darling;
my beautiful one, come with me.
This is Viper's Bugloss, overhanging the bokeh of the rainy tarmac on the road to the jetty; From this link, looks like it could be a useful plant, grows everywhere here; wish I could learn how to use them...
