Wainui Falls
We toured around to Totoranui this morning, somewhere we had never been before. With its beaches of golden sand (see extra photo) and situated in the Abel Tasman National Park, it's a beautiful surrounds were breathtaking. Surprisingly there weren't many people there camping, but those that were, were obviously enjoying their stay.
On the way home, we stopped in at the Wainui Falls walkway, and walked the 4km return trip to see the waterfall. It was a lovely walk, going through rain forest and in the shelter of the beautiful native bush. We went over a swing bridge, and weren't disappointed when we arrived at the falls. An amazing fierce looking waterfall, with fine mist flying everywhere- even all over my camera lens. If anyone is over this way, I highly recommend that you do this walk.
