Old Railway Bridge

This stone bridge used to support the Lawrence Branch Line from Milton and is found at the bottom of the Manuka Gorge, just off the highway. I believe the line was started in the 1870’s and closed in 1968. A very overcast day for our return journey from Dunedin - some sun would have made a better pic!
