hose in the wall
a picture tells a thousand stories:
Z was changing his rat cage.
(these are the rats he feeds to Medusa the snake) (yuck).
While changing the rat cage, Z opted to place the rats in the large bathtub in Z's mother's bathroom.
Once he finished changing the pine shavings in the rat cage, Z went to catch the rats in the tub, and in the subsequent scramble Z inadvertently snapped the handle off of the shower attachment, which is usually stationed in a hole proximate to the tub spigot (see photo above).
While surveying the damage done, Z unwisely (and for inexplicable reasons) proceeded to unscrew the base of the broken shower attachment from it's flexible hose (clearly identifiable in the photo above). Unfortunately Z failed to maintain a proper grasp on said flexible hose, and, with gravity having it's way over matter, the flexible hose flexed it's way down into it's little hole. Drawn by that immutable unseen hand once discovered by Sir Isaac Newton, and unwittingly unbridled from the widened part of the shower attachment base, the flexible hose descended deeply into the dark recesses of irretrievability.
Needless to say it required all the inventiveness of Thomas Edison as well as an extra long pick up tool, coupled with the patience of Ghandi and the invective expletives of an Irishman to extract the aforesaid-mentioned flexible hose from it's dominion within the hole at the side of the bathtub...
The photo above documents the aftermath once the hose has been retrieved, but before a new shower attachment has been purchased or installed, and immediately before I retired to the kitchen to find a beer
