Blackthorn/Hawthorn

Ashamed to say I don't know how to spot the difference. Love their silhouettes though. Teasel adds a bit of variety I thought. Didn't see a teasel here ( Durham coast) until I went to Art College in 74. Is it cos I wasn't looking?
