Sunshine on thistle

A pretty morning with hard frost covering the garden and trees and a stream of sunlight catching these hardy plants. Friends arrived for coffee and scones hoping to see the gold crest, it was around earlier and even ventured onto the fat ball feeder but it wasn’t up for meeting visitors.
