Mallard preening

Another damp, dull day.  I had to go into Haddington so took the camera and had a look to see what was happening on the Tyne. Only spotted a pair of mallards. The male was giving himself a bit of a tidy up, presumably hoping to impress his partner, making not too bad a job of it either!
