Experimental photography challenge

Intentional camera movement - subject people.

I wanted to have a go at this challenge and this lunchtime was so grey and dull I thought that it might be possible to get a half second exposure without blowing out the whole shot. Exmouth market opposite my office provides a good spot as there are lots of people around.

Not sure about the result. The shutter speed was a fraction too long so the people look like they have one leg rather than are moving and possibly I didn't move the camera enough. Maybe I'll have another go tomorrow. I ended up increasing the exposure while editing to make more of the sky white. I preferred the way it looked but I have no idea why!
