Deux Chevaux

In a small town in the midst of the Lincolnshire countryside today, I happened upon a dealer in old classic cars. There were a few British models, E-Type and MG, but they were mostly early and mid 20th century French. They were also mostly rather tatty, potential restoration projects. But they had a wonderful patina of age and some fine old details. This is the front grille of an ancient Citroën 2CV6 Spécial. Fabulous!
