FF - Orchids

There is a profusion of orchids and flowers of all sorts growing here, and although this one is very ordinary by comparison with some others I've seen I like it.  We've had more wind today and although the temperatures are still high I've already got used to the heat and I've been surprised to feel the chill.  

Since getting here we've not gone out to eat in the evening as we've been content to stay in the hotel, but this evening we're going to see our friends Guido and Alma who have one of the best Italian restaurants anywhere.  Guido headed up Dolce and Gabbana for many years in Hong Kong before retiring here and opening his restaurant - something he'd always wanted to do.  It will be lovely to see them again, and we know the food and our welcome will both be first class.
