Well today is a first for me in like....forever....I’ve been doing the Year with my Camera course and this week’s lesson was depth of field....but I managed to not only read the manual but also to find how to change some basic settings on my camera. When I’ve been photographing flowers I’ve always gone to full auto but I never quite got the depth I wanted so always had to edit my photos which was ok but I wanted a straight out of the camera shot...

So here it is...only cropped and nothing else!

It’s not a jaw dropping image but I’m so pleased that I finally fully understood how to make some simple changes....a long way to go though!
