A Red, Red Rose #2
Not my greatest ever blip, but I am pleased I managed to get a colour at least approaching the way they look in real life!
After experimenting with all sorts of lighting, colour and white balance settings my conclusion is that it all comes down to how much light is reaching the sensor. With my Canon with a 'correct' exposure the colour becomes pinkish, but setting the exposure compensation by 5 stops produces the right effect.
The extra was taken with my Lumix, setting the focus mode to AF Macro which seemed to give the right colour, probably because it was on shutter priority so was underexposed.
