Time ripples..........

12.40 we're gone.

Stopped several times on the drive over to Golden Bay to enjoy the views, take some pictures or eat and drink.

"We'll get to the cabin then take a walk. OK?
"OK"

Just made it to the campground to collect the cabin key before they closed. Decided on a mid-afternoon snack down on the beach. Afterwards we headed out on a walk along the inner beach of Farewell Spit.

9.30pm somehow rolled around whilst we were still out walking and we realised we hadn't even had tea, although we had had big fun shooting sand dunes, ripples and various other beachy things. Back to the cabin for a familiar tea we'd brought from home! (No need to cook when on holiday!)

"We'll have an early night tonight. OK?"

Past midnight we decide we should stop taking and get to bed!!

Clearly we're useless timekeepers, but who cares?!? The company of a good friend is hard to beat!
