Biking to nursery

Today was notable for being the first day CyclopsJnr biked to nursery on his pedal bike. We'd practiced plenty, sorted the lock, found somewhere at nursery to leave it, and received communication from Lothian Buses that we could take the bike in the bus so long as it would fit in the luggage rack. It all went fine!

In perhaps related news, CyclopsJnr's class have been doing special exercises to work on their balance and CyclopsJnr is reported to be an absolute natural.

After nursery CyclopsJnr didn't want to go directly home so we went down to Inverleith Park for some playing and proper biking unhampered by peebs and road crossing. Then we continued to Stockbridge where we had a babyccino in Caffe Nero. Then bus home. Very pleasant and companiable.
