The sack

I do supply work. It’s day-to-day work, I can say ‘I’m not working today’ and they can say ‘don’t come tomorrow ‘ .
I was asked to work at a local school for the year, but today they took their prerogative and said ‘don’t come back on Monday’

I don’t know what I did wrong, they didn’t give me a chance to improve, no appeal, just out.

My union rep says we can find out next week, I’m slightly nervous.

On the plus side, I can have 3 weeks in Thailand without worrying about letting my class down, I get more time to swim, study and go on retreat.
