A new screencast

Spent most of today preparing some new material to provide guidance to students in locating relevant information using the University's online resources.

I thought it would be useful to give students an on-screen demo of the resources, so I used a great free online tool called Screencast-o-Matic to create a screencast. I then uploaded the screencast to YouTube and embedded the YouTube video in our online virtual learning environment called Blackboard.

These sorts of tools are fantastic for providing much more useful guidance to students in how to access online information.
